Operational Baseline Assessment (Quick Diagnostic)

Purpose

This short assessment helps teams establish a clear operational starting point by scoring core capability areas, recording evidence, identifying the highest-impact gaps, and turning results into a 30/60/90 action plan. Designed to run as a focused 90-minute workshop with a small cross-functional team.

Workshop flow (90 minutes)

  1. Welcome & purpose (5 min)
  2. Individual quick scoring (10 min)
  3. Discuss and reach consensus on each capability score (25 min)
  4. Capture evidence and key gaps (20 min)
  5. Prioritize top 3 gaps and assign pilot owners (15 min)
  6. Agree quick wins and draft 30/60/90 plan (10 min)

How to use scores

Score each capability 0 to 4 where 0 = no capability / frequent failures, and 4 = robust, repeatable, measured, and improving. Focus discussion on evidence and recent examples. Use the combined picture and the Impact estimates to select the highest-impact, feasible pilots to run first.
