Digital Operations Maturity & Pilot Scorecard

Use this scorecard to assess how ready your team and processes are for a digital pilot and to evaluate candidate pilots for impact, feasibility, risk, and scaling potential. Score each item using the 1–5 scale where 1 = Very Low / Not Present and 5 = Very High / Ready. The form stores your responses so you can compare pilots, track readiness over time, and prioritize work that delivers measurable operational value.

How to use the results: compute the average of the maturity fields to get a 'Maturity Score' and the average of the pilot evaluation fields to get a 'Pilot Score'. Interpretation guide:

• Maturity Score ≥ 4.2: Operationally ready — pilots can focus on value delivery and rapid scaling.
• Maturity Score 3.0–4.1: Conditional readiness — consider preparatory work (data fixes, integrations, stabilization) alongside a small, low-risk pilot.
• Maturity Score < 3.0: Invest in foundational improvements (data availability, process stability, change management) before major pilots.

Pilot Score interpretation:

• Pilot Score ≥ 4.0: High-impact, feasible pilot — prioritize for execution and measurement.
• Pilot Score 3.0–3.9: Potentially valuable — define clear success metrics, reduce risk, and limit scope.
• Pilot Score < 3.0: Low priority or needs redesign — likely to consume effort without measurable operational value.
