Integration mapping template and interactive builder for POS and third-party platforms

A practical, ready-to-use integration mapping template plus an interactive mapping-save form. Collect mapping metadata and a structured mapping payload (JSON), store versions, capture sign-offs, and record test results. Includes help text, a sample mapping snippet, checklist items, and guidance for export and automation.

Interactive Tool

Integration mapping builder

This interactive form captures the integration mapping, transforms, frequency, owners, test results and sign-offs for POS integrations with delivery platforms, inventory systems, payroll/timekeeping, and other third-party platforms. Use it to store a canonical mapping JSON, run manual test checks, and create an auditable mapping version for downstream automation and handover.

Tips: paste a JSON array of mapping rows in the mapping field (see sample below). After saving, download or export the stored JSON for use in automation pipelines or to seed your integration tests.

Semantic version or revision tag for this mapping (e.g., 1.0, 2026-05-20-v2).
Which flow does this mapping cover? (orders_to_inventory, orders_to_delivery_reconciliation, sales_to_payroll, etc.)
Short description of the flow when 'Other' is selected.
Field(s) used as an idempotency key (e.g., order.id, external_ref). Important for preventing double consumption.
Choose the retry pattern for transient failures.
Maximum automatic retry attempts (e.g., 5).
Paste a JSON array of mapping rows. Each row should include source, target, transform, frequency, owner, error_handling, and test_cases. Example below. The platform stores this JSON as the canonical mapping payload for this version.
Select the types of stable master-data keys referenced in mappings.
List role or person responsible for the mapping and a contact (email or slack). Example: Finance: finance@example.com; Inventory: inventory@example.com
Summarize the positive and negative test cases executed in staging. Include results and links to logs or screenshots if available.
Confirm these tests were executed in staging before sign-off.
Links or notes about staging logs, screenshots or exported test reports. Useful for audits.
Has the Inventory owner approved this mapping version?
Has the Finance owner approved the reconciliation logic and amounts?
Has Operations/Kitchen owner approved portion_factor and consumption rules?
Briefly describe steps to roll back to previous mapping if production issues occur.
If yes, an export package (mapping JSON + metadata) will be made available for download in the UI (when implemented).
