POS & Integrations Implementation Checklist (Interactive Template)

Purpose

This interactive template helps teams plan, assign, test, and validate POS and systems integrations so data is reliable, operations stay uninterrupted, and leadership can trust the numbers. Use the form below to record owner assignments, dates, test outcomes, evidence links, and notes. Each submission is stored with the ContentItem so project records include test artifacts and decisions.

How to use this template

  1. Complete project name and high-level owners at the top.
  2. Work through phases in order: discovery → mapping → testing → go-live → post-launch.
  3. For each phase, check the items you’ve completed, record an owner, a target date, the test outcome and any notes or evidence links.
  4. Keep test artifacts (screenshots, export files, logs) in a shared project folder and paste links into the Evidence field for each phase.
  5. Make a saved submission for major milestones (mapping complete, test pass, pilot complete, go-live). Use these saved snapshots for audits, retrospectives, and handoffs.

Below are the checklist items and the interactive fields to record progress. The full static reference checklist is preserved in the Reference section below for easy lookup.

Reference (full checklist)

The original checklist text has been preserved for quick reference. It includes: Purpose; How to use this template; Phase 1 — Discovery & Requirements; Phase 2 — Data Mapping & Design (including an example mapping snippet); Phase 3 — Test Data Scenarios (including a sales vs. inventory reconciliation sample); Phase 4 — Reconciliation & Validation Tests; Phase 5 — Go-Live Checklist; Phase 6 — Rollback & Contingency Plan; Phase 7 — Post-Launch Verification & Monitoring; Roles & Responsibilities; Common Pitfalls & Mitigations; Appendix — Quick printable checklist. When you save the interactive form, it captures phase-level evidence and notes while you continue to use the reference text for detailed procedures.
