4-week experiment tracker (lightweight)

Run small experiments for 1–2 weeks and use four-week cycles to iterate. Below is a simple template you can copy into a spreadsheet or your team board.

Experiment Owner Start End Baseline & target Measure Result / Learning
Cap WIP at 3 per person Alex 2026-07-05 2026-07-18 Throughput: 42 → target 45 Throughput, median cycle time, interruptions Learning: reduced context-switching; next: keep cap for another cycle or loosen slightly

How to use the tracker

  1. Record a clear baseline before the experiment starts.
  2. Define one owner and one primary measure (numeric or short qualitative check).
  3. Run for 1–2 weeks, then review the result in the huddle and decide next action: adopt, adapt, or abandon.
  4. Limit concurrent experiments to one per major workflow to keep learning clean.

Over time, a four-week view of experiments helps the team see which changes persistently improve throughput and protect wellbeing.
