Short learning huddle script — turn findings into tests in 20 minutes
Use this facilitator script after the audit to convert observations into prioritized experiments and learning actions.
- Set the tone (2 minutes): Remind the group the purpose is learning, not blame. Share one quick positive observation to start.
- Review top observations (5 minutes): Each observer reads their top 1–2 findings (30–60 seconds each). Stick to facts: what was seen, not who did it.
- Prioritize (5 minutes): As a group, pick up to three items that should be tested first. Use this quick rule: pick items that mix high risk and reasonable ease of testing.
- Design the test (5 minutes): For each selected item agree on owner, what change will be tried, how long the test will run (1–4 weeks), and one simple verification check.
- Close and commit (3 minutes): Confirm owners and deadlines, schedule a 15-minute review huddle at the test end, and thank people for honest observations.
Facilitator tips: Keep the meeting time-boxed. Capture actions in the prioritized controls worksheet. If people raise blame, steer the conversation back to system causes and what the team can change tomorrow.
