Pre-huddle checklist & meeting agenda (ready-to-use)

Before the huddle (24–72 hours)

  • Confirm scorecard is up to date and shared where attendees can view it.
  • Metric owners prepare a 1–2 sentence context: recent trend, suspected causes, and suggested action.
  • Record keeper opens the huddle log and prepares fields: date, attendees, metrics snapshot.
  • Timebox assigned: confirm meeting length (10–30 minutes) and set a timer.

Huddle agenda (15-minute template)

  1. 0:00–0:30 Quick check-in and confirm agenda.
  2. 0:30–5:00 Scorecard overview — owner reads the metric, movement, and a 1-line context (30–60 sec per metric).
  3. 5:00–12:00 Discuss metrics outside green — clarify cause, agree on one action or experiment per metric. Assign owner and deadline.
  4. 12:00–14:00 Confirm measurements and what success looks like for each action/experiment.
  5. 14:00–15:00 Wrap-up: restate owners, deadlines, and what to monitor before next huddle.

After the huddle

  • Record keeper saves the log entry and shares decisions and owners with the team.
  • Owners schedule any follow-up work and measurement checks.
  • At the next huddle, owners report results of actions/experiments in one sentence.
