Pre/Post KPI Huddle Checklist

Before the huddle

  • Decide and publish the meeting purpose (learning goals, not status report).
  • Confirm 3–5 indicators to review and ensure the data steward has updated values/charts.
  • Ask owners to bring one short hypothesis or context note (no long presentations).
  • Share the meeting agenda and timebox expectations in advance.

During the huddle

  • Start with a short norm reminder: we focus on learning; avoid blame.
  • Use the numbers-at-a-glance approach — short context only.
  • Prioritize 1–2 learning questions to pursue now.
  • Agree experiments or decisions that are specific, time-boxed, and owner-assigned.
  • Capture risks or dependencies that might affect interpretation.

After the huddle

  • Record the huddle (use the interactive log) so experiments and owners are clear.
  • Owners add experiment details to a shared tracker (what, how, expected indicator, review date).
  • Data steward notes any measurement changes or data caveats for future reference.
  • Share a one-paragraph recap and next review date with the team.
