30-minute rapid audit & action sprint

For teams that need fast alignment, use this compact ritual to get to action quickly.

  1. Prepare (5 minutes): Assemble 3–5 people. Pull up the InteractiveForm and one recent example of a data incident or key report.
  2. Rapid scoring (10 minutes): Each participant privately gives 1–5 scores for three priority domains (choose: Data Quality, Ownership, Analytics Workflow). Average or discuss rapid disagreements.
  3. Evidence snap (5 minutes): For any domain scored 1–3, capture one sentence of evidence and one quote about impact (e.g., 'ETL fails on weekends; support can't fix quickly; shipping delays result').
  4. Pick 1–2 actions (5 minutes): Choose actions that are high-impact and quick: e.g., restore a failing ETL, assign a data steward, or add a monitoring alert. Assign a single owner and a 30-day target.
  5. Confirm follow-up (5 minutes): Decide a short-check cadence (weekly 15 min) and the smallest measurable success metric. Note who will re-run the audit form for that domain in 30 or 60 days.

Outputs to capture: average scores for selected domains, one-sentence evidence for each low score, 1–2 concrete actions with owners and a 30-day metric. This sprint is designed to trade some measurement completeness for speed and momentum — repeat later with the full audit form.
